Andrea Lloyd is a science communications specialist for the International Space Station Research team, currently coordinating social and digital platforms. She is based at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. She has been involved in the space industry for over seven years.

 

Andrea completed an M.A. in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, weaving historical, personal, and scientific narratives to share inclusive stories about science. She also received an M.A. in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin where she researched the 50-year history of NASA's public relations efforts, and her B.S. in Media Studies with emphasis in strategic communication and professional writing from Texas A&M University. When she’s not talking to people about space, Andrea enjoys knitting, photography, and walking her dog, Titan.
